At WopeCar, every journey has a beginning and for Joseph Appiah, that beginning was the very start. As the company’s first employee, Joe (as he's affectionately known by all) has been part of the WopeCar story for the past seven years, helping shape it into what it is today.

“I started with WopeCar through a very good friend,” he says, “and so far, it has helped me a lot; especially in getting to know different places and locations I may never have gone on my own.”

As a driver, Joe handles car deliveries and pick-ups, a task he still finds rewarding even after all these years.

“The best part of my job is doing deliveries and pick-ups. Each one is different. There’s variety in the people I meet and the places I go,” he explains.

His most memorable experience? One that went beyond driving:

“A customer had lost his luggage, and I helped him search for it. He was so excited when we found it. That meant a lot to me,” he recalls.

Like any job, there are challenges; especially when it comes to managing customer expectations.

“Sometimes you have to ask more questions to get all the information you need,” he shares. “That’s how you avoid misunderstandings and ensure the job is done right.”

For Joe, a successful day is simple but meaningful:

“It’s when I deliver a car on time and the customer is satisfied. When they give positive feedback, I feel proud.”
