OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SELF DRIVE RENTAL:

  1. Booking Duration: For self drive, clients must rent the car for at least 2 days.
  2. Rental Rates: Outside Accra trips costs extra, as rates vary by regions. Please DO NOT take the car to a destination you have not paid for, to avoid penalty.
  3. Rental Period: The rental period lasts 24 hours per day. However, for luxury cars like Prado & Pajero, it's 12 hours per day.
  4. Security Deposit: Clients must pay a refundable security deposit of 25% of the total rental cost if the rental amount is or exceeds GHS 2000.  For rentals below GHS 2000 the deposit is fixed at GHS 500.
  5. Delivery Fee: There's a delivery fee of GHC 170. We do not offer client pickups. This fee covers both drop-off and pick-up of the vehicle.
  6.  Payment: Full payment is required before the car is delivered. We accept payment via transfer methods such as Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, or Card Payment. No cash payments are allowedNote: Also, until payment is made, the car remains available to all clients.
  7. Fuel: Rental rates do not include fuel. Rental prices cover car ONLY.
  8. Driver's License: ONLY person(s) whose valid driver’s license is with WopeCar is/are allowed to drive the vehicle at all times.
  9. Vehicle Condition: Clients must return the car in the same condition as it was given; washed and fuel filled to the same level received.
  10. Damage and Fines: In the event of physical or mechanical damage, challenges, or police fines, clients must contact customer support before taking any action. Repairing or paying for anything on the car without informing us may result in double repair fees or no refund, respectively.
  11. Extension: Full-day rate apply on extensions of ongoing rental.
  12. Cancellation: Clients will incur a cancellation fee of at least GHC 200 if a booked car is cancelled less than 48 hours before booking date.
  13. Delivery Time: Delivery begins at 8am, and the latest return time is 5pm.
  14. Delivery Days: Delivery and pick-up of rented vehicles are done from Monday to Saturday only. Rental dates that start or end on Sundays will be adjusted to the nearest working day.

CHAUFFEURED RENTAL:

 

  1. Rental Period: All chauffeured rides are calculated for 12 hours per day. Drivers finish work by 8pm for rentals that start from at least mid-noon.
  2. Overtime Fee: Rentals that exceed 8pm will incur an overtime fee. This fee is half the day's rate for rentals that go from 8pm to 11pm, and a full day extension rate for those that go beyond 11pm.
  3. Driver's Allowance: Rental rates include the allowance for the driver.
  4. Accommodation: If the chauffeured ride extends beyond a day outside Accra, accommodation will be needed. Clients can choose to provide accommodation for the driver or have the accommodation cost added to the quoted rate.
  5. Fuel: Fuel rates are not included in the rental amount. Clients are required to refill the fuel tank after each trip.
  6. Payment: Full payment is required before the car is delivered. We do not accept cash payments. Payment should be made via transfer methods such as Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, or Card payment.
  7. Cancellation: Clients will incur a cancellation fee of at least GHC 200 if a car is booked and canceled less than 48 hours before booking date.
  8. Usage: Outside Accra trips costs extra, as rates are based on the destination.

FAQs

What is the minimum number of rental days?
Self driven option must be a minimum of 2 days rental.
How many hours is a day’s rental?
Rental per day is 24 hours. Thus, rental ends at the same time as delivered. However, luxury cars such as Prado & Pajero given for self-drive are calculated at 12 hours/day.
What is your policy on security deposits?
Clients must pay a refundable security deposit of 25% of the total rental cost if the rental amount is or exceeds GHS 2000. For rentals below GHS 2000 the deposit is fixed at GHS 500.
What is your policy on car pickups?
Clients pay an amount of GHC170 charged as delivery fee. Please we do not offer client pickups NB: This fee caters for the drop off and pick up of the vehicle.
Do I have to make full payment before the car is delivered?
Full payment is required before the car is delivered. NO CASH PAYMENT is allowed payment only by TRANSFER through Mobile Money , Bank Transfer, Pay stack.
Do rental rates include fuel?
Rates are exclusive of fuel. Rental ONLY.
Can the car be driven without a license?
Please note, ONLY the person whose valid driver’s license is with WopeCar MUST drive the vehicle at all times. Failure to comply may result in incurred costs borne by the renter.
What is your policy on car returns?
Clients must return cars in the same condition as was given. Washed and with the same level of fuel.
What is your policy in case of damages or police fines during rentals?
In an event of physical or mechanical damage, challenge or police fines, please contact customer support first! PLEASE DO NOT repair or pay anything on the car without our knowing. This may result in double repair fee or no refund respectively.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Clients pay a cancellation fee of at least GHC 200 when a car is booked and do not go through with the booking. Fees are dependent on the nature of the booking.
How early can I get a car delivered?
Deliveries start at 8am while return time is capped at 5pm.
Can a car be delivered on any day?
Delivery and pick up of rented vehicles are done on Mondays through to Saturdays ONLY. Rental dates that start or end on Sundays will have to be moved a day before or after.
Can I take the car anywhere once I have booked it?
Clients are required to use the car in the agreed destination/jurisdiction for which they have paid. Our rental rates are based on the destination being traveled, so any changes will affect the rental cost.
